On August 14, 2019 Belkommunmash signed a contract for the supply of trolleybuses to Dnipro (Ukraine).
According to the contract, Belkommunmash together with a subsidiary company BKM-Ukraine will manufacture 12 units of trolleybuses model 32100D equipped with an autonomous run based on supercapacitors used in Belkommunmash electric buses.
Characteristic features of this system are: a long service life, less weight in comparison with lithium batteries, which ensures the maximum possible passenger capacity of the vehicle as well as the possibility of express charging of the trolleybus (5-6 minutes) at the final point in the end of the route.
Trolleybuses, as part of this supply, will be equipped with a video surveillance system, air conditioning for the passengers compartment and driver’s cab as well as USB connectors. Funding is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
