On March 27, in the Belarusian town of Shklov, Mogilev region, 15 electric buses of the E321 model of the Olgerd series were solemnly handed over in the square near the School of Arts.

All diesel-powered passenger public transport is replaced by electric ones. Shklov became the first city in the country to receive a batch of vehicles under the Green City pilot project.

Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik handed a certificate for electric buses to the director of Mahilioublavtotrans, Dmitri Zubrinovich. The certificate was also handed to him by the General director of BKM Holding Taras Murog as a sign of the transfer of the vehicles from the manufacturer.

The event was also attended by Anatoly Isachenko, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Leonid Martyniuk, Assistant to the President - Inspector of the Mogilev Region, Alexander Rogozhnik, Minister of Industry, Alexander Goroshkin, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Council of Deputies, and Andrei Kamko, Chairman of the Shklov District Executive Committee.

“The best gratitude for the company will be positive feedback from passengers who will use this transport, from drivers who already feel the comfort and ergonomics of the workplace, said Taras Murog. — Another weighty argument in favour of electric buses is the ecological effect we will get in the long run”.

On this day the drivers received memorable branded souvenirs from BKM and took the first passengers around the city! They were the guests of honour and those present at the event.

E321 is the most advanced model in the BKM Holding range. Created in the fifth generation body, it has a modern design and comfortable interior. With a total of 31 seats, the transport is designed to carry 67 passengers. Inside the cabin of the Shklov transport there are two places for a wheelchair with a restraint system, a driver's call button and a ramp. There are USB charging ports. Heating systems are installed to maintain a comfortable temperature in the cold season. Electric buses also have video cameras and route indicators with heated windows in this area. The range from one charge is 200 kilometres.

The vehicles were delivered from Minsk on their own, and it should be noted that in the economy mode on arrival at the park the remaining charge was up to 50%.

The new electric buses will be used to service 3 3 city lines and 19 suburban lines in Shklov District.
