2023 is one of the most productive years in the history of BKM Holding! The production volume increased by more than 40% compared to the previous year.
The company's team realised landmark projects to supply trolleybuses to such regions as Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo, Russian Federation - St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Murmansk. The trolleybuses with autonomous range launched for the anniversary of Ekaterinburg, and the project continues.
The delivery of electric buses to Krasnoyarsk was completed. After successful pilot operation, an articulated electric bus was handed over to St. Petersburg. Deliveries of complete sets of MiNiN electric buses for Nizhny Novgorod for joint production have started, the presentation of this model with an exclusive mask was held.
It is worth noting that BKM Holding has overcome the milestone of 400 trams produced in the history of the enterprise. Barnaul received a batch of low-floor futuristic beauties. The first tram for Krasnodar was manufactured. Deliveries to Samara and the fulfilment of a major contract for Nizhny Novgorod are ongoing - the first MiNiNs have been on the line since early 2023.
The development of the new tram model T701 has been launched to modernise tram cars in the regions of Russia and other countries. Design work is underway to create a 100% low-floor three-section tram model T856 with increased passenger capacity.
The electric truck has successfully passed trial operation in Belarus. Joint activities were signed with a Russian company for the development of a hydrogen-fuelled truck.
BKM Holding took part in the exhibitions "INNOPROM.Yekaterinburg", "INNOPROM.Kazakhstan", Busworld Central Asia, Ecology Expo, TIBO, SpbTransportFest and presented innovative products - an articulated electric bus with a range of up to 240 km, a low-floor tram with bogies of its own design and an electric truck. At the exhibition "Eurasia - Our Home", the Eurasian Electric Bus and components of the holding's own production were presented for the first time. The localisation in the EAEU countries amounts to over 80%.
The year 2023 will also be remembered for the celebration of the half-century anniversary, the Doors Open Day, many events and competitions that made the employees’ lives more interesting and the company more comfortable!
