04/24/2024 03:22:00 pm

BKM Holding took part in the Made in Belarus Pavilion at the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia" in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from 22 to 24 April 2024.

The holding presented a 1:20 scale model of the T811 tram. Key components, including electrical equipment and tram bogies, are in-house developed by the company's specialists. The level of localisation in EAEU reaches 93%. The low-floor single-section tram T811 with a length of 16.50 m has 35 seats and is designed to transport 159 passengers. The car is equipped with electric motors with a total capacity of 288 kW (72x4) and can reach a speed of up to 75 km/h.

The external cladding is made of corrosion-resistant fibreglass panels, which allows the tram car to be in operation for at least 30 years. The car can be equipped for combining into a multiple unit system. The design is made in the style of trolleybuses, electric buses and trucks of the Vitovt series. It is also worth noting that BKM Holding is developing a three-section tram this year.

Since 2023 such trams have been operated by Nizhny Novgorod (MiNiN series), Samara, and deliveries of bodies to Krasnodar have also begun. This year such trams will appear in the Belarusian capital, Minsk, and further it is planned to renew the tram fleet in Mozyr, Vitebsk and Novopolotsk. BKM Holding promotes its products in promising markets, including Central Asian countries.

More than 400 organisations presented their potential covering the area of more than 14,000 square metres at the NEC Uzexpocentre. Delegations from Uzbekistan, Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and other countries visited the exhibition. The busy business program covered such topics as industrial cooperation, transport, digitalisation, infrastructure and others. Delegates from 27 countries took part in the events.
