The first electric bus of the MiNiN series was presented in Nizhny Novgorod. The solemn event was held with the participation of Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin. They left their wishes on the new electric bus. The head of the region wrote: “A huge leap for the region”, while the Prime Minister of Belarus wrote: “Enjoy your journeys”.

The electric bus is produced at the Belarusian-Russian joint venture Nizhekotrans in Vorsma, where MiNiN trams are already being assembled. Three electric buses are ready, BKM Holding has already supplied five bodies. In total, 62 electric buses will be assembled within the framework of the joint project, which is almost half of the total order of the region.

The electric bus model E450 of the MiNiN series can accommodate up to 75 passengers. There are 36 seats, the vehicle is able to run at least 240 kilometres on a single charge; and a full charge in the depot takes about 5 hours. The type of energy storage is Li-NMC. The electric bus is adapted to work in the upper part of the city where large height differences and increased battery life is needed.

The 100% low-floor electric bus is equipped with air conditioning, video surveillance, passenger counting and AFC systems. USB sockets allow to recharge your devices while travelling. GPS, media complex, information system, power meter help to stay informed. The doors are equipped with an anti-jamming system, and the driver's seat is equipped with air suspension. For passengers with reduced mobility, there is a folding ramp, a wheelchair seat with restraint system and a button for communication with the driver and a kneeling system.

The exterior and interior of the electric bus were designed exclusively for the Nizhny Novgorod region. By the way, the city residents have already called the vehicle "orange" because of its colour.
