BKM Holding participated at the exhibition of innovative transport and equipment, presenting at its stand the suburban E350 electric bus of the OLGERD series - a model designed for routes with high requirements for comfort, reliability and autonomous range.
The electric bus is designed to carry at least 53 passengers, including 42 seats with enhanced comfort. A low floor at the entrance area ensures easy boarding and alighting. A 220-kW traction motor combined with an energy storage system rated at 614.4 V and a total capacity of 283 kWh provides a range of at least 100 km with the possibility of further increase and a maximum speed of 90 km/h.
The design includes video surveillance, climate control and automatic fire suppression systems, route display boards, a voice information system, a multimedia complex and USB ports at every passenger seat. The electric bus complies with the requirements of UN Regulations No. 66 and No. 58 on structural integrity and passive safety.
During the festival, the BKM Holding stand was visited by representatives of the transport industry, government authorities, industry organizations and residents of Saint Petersburg. As part of the business program, the stand was toured by the Deputy Governor of Saint Petersburg Kirill Polyakov, President of the International Association of Urban Electric Transport Enterprises Andrei Lyzin, and the Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Committee for Transport Denis Minkin.
A number of working meetings and discussions were held on the development of modern urban electric transport and the expansion of cooperation.
