The year 2024 was a truly “tram” year for BKM Holding. Production of two new models was launched - T856 (fully low-floor three-section tramcar) and T701 (tramcar body with variable floor level).
Trams were delivered to Mozyr (the first city in Belarus with T811), Krasnodar, Samara, Novosibirsk. Low-floor trams appeared for the first time in Minsk and started to run on the line (running-in). In Nizhny Novgorod, a project to assemble MiNiN electric buses and trams is being successfully implemented. The first T856 unit is also being sent there.
The Belarusian city of Shklov has completely switched over to electric buses E321 Olgerd within the framework of the republican ecological project, and such vehicles now carry passengers in Krasnodar and Sochi. Articulated electric buses E433 Vitovt were produced for Minsk and Mikashevichy (RUPP “Granit”). St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk received new trolleybuses of Olgerd series this year.
Production volume growth was about 10%.
BKM Holding took part in more than 20 exhibition events in Uzbekistan, Mongolia and the Russian Federation, and as delegations to forums in Ethiopia, Armenia and Pakistan. “Eurasian Electric Bus” was presented to the President of Belarus and members of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The collection of awards was enriched with 3 diplomas for export, development of a low-floor tram and an electric truck.
The social policy of Belkommunmash Holding is to take care of its employees and opportunities for their development. The company pays much attention to the improvement of labour conditions, equipment in the workshops has been renewed. The growth of wages alone amounted to more than 130%.
Within the framework of industrial tourism 32 organised excursions took place (that's more than 700 people). More than 60 official delegations visited the enterprise, including such countries as Philippines, Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Nicaragua and regions of the Russian Federation. In order to present the enterprise and machinery in a beautiful way, significant projects were implemented - a jubilee book and an interactive panel with a demonstration of a tram and an electric bus. Within the framework of Minsk City Day, BKM Holding held a large-scale celebration - Open Day.
